Good feed should provide most of the vitamins, minerals, and protein your animal needs. However, essential fatty acids, or EFAs, are very fragile. Most dry feed is exposed to air, light, and heat, which destroy EFAs. Therefore, most animals are deficient in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. HealthyCoat provides a rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 that the animal can't produce.

Plus, HealthyCoat is a rich source of vitamin E and lecithin. It is also fortified with niacin, biotin, and vitamin B. These features will alleviate diet deficiencies while promoting healthy skin, a shiny hair coat, optimum health, and top performance.

Essential fatty acids are vital  to the health of your animal.  Most of the animals cannot produce these 2 fatty acids: they must be provided by an outside source, such as HealthyCoat.

Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids area structural component of all cell membranes.  Without essential fatty acids, the cells will substitute another type of fat, thereby creating a cell that doesn't have a maximum vitality, strength or health.

We cold-press our product during the production process in order to rupture the cells, which maintains the level of essential fatty acids and vitamins that are necessary to properly satisfy your animal’s needs. No proteins are added to our product at any point during the production process.

HealthyCoat is an all-natural liquid supplement. No artificial components make up this product.

HealthyCoat contains 2 1/2 times the digestible energy of grain and hay. An obvious improvement may be seen in coat shine and manageability within a few weeks of feeding. Feeding rates vary depending on species, and recommendations are listed on the labels.

HealthyCoat is a top dressing for feed. For most species, simply put the recommended amount over the top of the feed ration. For chickens, we recommend mixing the oil into the feed thoroughly before filling the feeder. As with any changes to an animal's diet, it is best to increase the amount of HealthyCoat slowly over a few days.

No, it is best to keep HealthyCoat at room temperature. It can freeze in the winter, so you will want to store it in a climate-controlled area.

Yes! If you see some material in the bottom of the bottle, it is actually just lecithin that has settled out.  You can give the bottle a shake and it will go back into solution.

Yes, you can give this to young goats.  Actually, we see drastically better result on the younger and the older animals.  Since our product helps with digestion, it gets young goats off to a good start.

For dosage:  Use as directed on the bottle; .5 to 1 oz per day.  We always recommend starting off with the smallest amount and working up to the full dose slowly.  This allows your animal time to acclimate to a new supplement.

Yes, you could mix Healthy Coat with milk.  But, since our product is made with oil, we doubt that it will mix well and separation would occur.  We would suggest using a drenching method or adding Healthy Coat in a bottle nipple first and letting the baby suck it out alone.
